The Infrared Obstacle Avoidance IR Sensor Module (Active Low) is an essential component for detecting obstacles in various applications. This module features a pair of infrared transmitting and receiving tubes. When the transmitted IR light waves are reflected back by an object, the receiver tube captures the reflected waves, and the onboard comparator processes this signal to activate the green indicator LED.

Designed with a 3-wire interface (VCC, GND, and OUTPUT), this sensor module operates seamlessly with voltage levels ranging from 3.3V to 5V. When an obstacle is detected, the output pin sends a digital low-level signal. The module includes a preset knob, allowing you to fine-tune the detection range from 2cm to 80cm, making it highly versatile for various obstacle avoidance applications.
